Until relatively recently the vast majority of varieties contained very high levels of THC and low levels of the other components.<\/p>\n<p>Everything changed with the arrival of CBD-rich cannabis genetics, which opened the door to the rest of the <b>plant&#8217;s medicinal compounds<\/b>. It is found in very small amounts in many strains, but after the success of other cannabinoids it has attracted great interest.<\/p>\n<p>This compound does not get you high by itself, but like CBD, THCV or terpenes, <i>CBN has the ability to modulate the psychotropic effect of THC<\/i>. When you take <b>CBN oil or capsules to sleep<\/b>, you wake up the next day with a clear head and the feeling of having rested, <i>not like when you take opiates and the next day you have some mental breakdown or feeling of tiredness<\/i>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"%E2%9A%A0%EF%B8%8F_CBN-rich_varieties\"><\/span>\u26a0\ufe0f CBN-rich varieties<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Any genetics can contain Cannabinol because, as we have seen before, this cannabinoid is formed by the oxidation of THC.
