This video tutorial demonstrates how to perform DHO extraction using methyl ether instead of butane, highlighting its advantages and necessary equipment.
And hello, Growers! Today, in this video, we are going to make DHO. So, what is DHO? It’s like BHO, but instead of using butane, we will use methyl ether. This method has several advantages:
- It is less flammable.
- The plant produces more quickly.
- It provides a better yield.
To do this, we will need:
- Parchment paper
- Extractor
- Two gas bottles
- A container in which we will let the gas flow
- A pot and hot water to create a water bath to evaporate the gas more quickly
So, first, we will prepare the container in which we will let the gas flow. For that, I will use parchment paper that I will place directly inside. Now, we will fill our extractor with cannabis.
Now we need to shake the two bottles a lot. Don’t forget to wear a glove; otherwise, our hand will get stuck to the extractor. And here we go!
Now we are going to fill the container with hot water securely. We will let it purge for a little while, about one or two hours, and you will see that it is much easier to collect. Or, if you have put your extraction in the freezer, we can collect it.
