In this video, learn how to create a natural homemade fertilizer using ashes for the flowering period, ensuring optimal pH levels for your plants.
Hello everyone, welcome to Pevgrow! In this video, we’re going to see how we can make a homemade fertilizer for the flowering period. Alright, let’s take a look!
First, we’re going to make a fertilizer using ashes. To make ashes, we need to burn wood. I found this pallet because the wood is not varnished; it’s untreated. So, we’re going to make a fire and burn it. The first step is to break it into pieces. Alright, let’s cut the wood.
There’s no way to break this wood with just my hands, so I’ll use the barbecue. Let’s burn this pallet, and then we’ll check it out once we have the ashes. We should have roughly a measurement of about 11 lbs of ashes.
Next, we mix the ashes with water. We add the ashes to the water and stir it. After that, it’s time to check the pH of the solution. We will keep checking it until it reaches between 5.8 and 6.8. Once we have the right pH, we can go to our little plant and water it.
We should water every other time or twice a week, depending on the moisture level. Remember, you should never overwater your plant; you just need to keep the soil moist.
I use a rapid test to check the pH, and now I have it perfect. Now that we’re ready, we just need to water.
I’ll leave the link to our website down below in the description so you can get this amazing tool that monitors pH, light, and humidity. Our soil is perfect!
