This video guides viewers through the simple process of planting germinated marijuana seeds, emphasizing the importance of using proper soil and providing tips for protecting the young plants.
Hello everyone, welcome to Pevgrow! Let’s see how easy, simple, and quick it is to plant our already germinated seed.
In another video, we saw how to germinate using the same little container that our seed came in. Well, we already have this one! Oh my god, I’ve already gotten rid of this one! I cannot believe it, I’ve already gone out; look, there’s even a little bit! See how it is?
So, first, we prepare the pot with the soil. I won’t stop recommending Top Crop Soil. You need to choose a substrate that’s meant for cannabis. We pick the part, and I’m going to finish filling it up here with you. You can really feel it in the texture and everything. Remember, we use soil: each plant needs its own fresh soil so it can absorb all the nutrients perfectly. You already know this: no stones, not even play stones. The soil is fantastic and offers great value for money.
Once we have it here, there’s not much more to do. You don’t need to pack it down or anything; the soil should be loose. So, we just make a little hole here, grab our seed, and just place the root down. It’ll find its way on its own, cover it up, and that’s it! It’s already planted, just like that! We already knew this from kindergarten.
Now, what do I want to explain about this? If we have the chance, let’s choose one of these parts: if we have the chance to choose one of these parts, let’s do the clay part. Why? Because it retains a lot of heat, and if it’s indoors, that’s fine. I’m talking about the conditions we have here right now outside.
Show a clay pot: what does it transpire? We have to take great care of the roots, both the roots and the plant. So, it’s the same; we have to take everything into account. For example, right now, the sun is really strong. Okay, so the soil gets heated up. What’s up? If the soil gets heated up and the pot is plastic, the sun hits it and it heats up. We can squash the roots! I mean, it’s too much heat; if it doesn’t breathe because it’s plastic, then you’re making it worse.
Now that we have it planted, it’s protected again with what? Well, I brought this homemade mesh, just a little piece. It could also be something else. Look, I’m going to show you something else: I’ve got a pencil holder, yes, from your room!
- What do we do with this? So, where we planted it, we protect it like this.
- We put it here; this way, it covers it from the birds.
- So when the little branch starts to come out, they don’t come and take it home—the birds, the cats, anything!
So, it will always be protected when it’s more like this. Then, when it starts to grow, we plant this other one, and then the plant reaches a height where it doesn’t need it anymore, and it’s time to take it off. And now we water it a little. The first watering for the little one, or we can spray it, but not too much to avoid disturbing the seed, or we can pour water around it.
