Today, I’ll show you a quick video on how to make your own THC syrup. You’ll see that it’s a simple recipe to make and you’ll only need a few ingredients.
So, first things first, let’s go over an important point, which is the dosage of edibles. For example, one gram of 26% THC will contain 260 milligrams of THC. If your strain has 19% THC, then in one gram of herb, you will have 190 milligrams of THC. It also needs to have been grown properly to reach the cannabinoid levels claimed by the breeder.
For this recipe, I’m going to make a syrup that will contain about 1000 mL of THC, so I’ll need:
- 3 cups of powdered sugar
- 3 cups of water
- 4 grams of cannabis or 1 gram of extract
- Vegetable glycerin
- Flavors (if you want to add some taste to your syrups)
Now, let’s move on to the first step:
We need to decarboxylate the cannabis, and for that, you just need to grind it up and put it in the oven at 110°C for 35 minutes. So, let’s go, and now we put the jar in the oven.
Now that the water is boiling, we can add the two cups of sugar. We’re going to stir until the sugar completely dissolves. Now that the sugar has completely and entirely melted, at this particular moment in time, we can talk about flavor. I’m going to use a pineapple flavor, so just a few drops should be enough.
Now, we’re going to carefully and gently mix for 8 minutes on low heat. Now that your syrup is ready, we can filter it, so we’re going to find out a bit more so that the mixture is nice and even.
