What is Ferimon hemp variety like?

We are dealing with a very homogeneous non-psychoactive cannabis genetics, created in France, but widely cultivated in many European countries because of its great adaptation to the continental and oceanic climate above all.

It is monoica, which means that it produces both female and male flowers in the same buds. It grows up to 8.2 ft. (2.5 meters) high if planted early, although it is not one of the most cultivated varieties for fiber, so it is not usually left to grow so much. Its total vegetative cycle is from 100 to 125 days, of which around 60 belong to the flowering phase.

How are Ferimon seeds grown?

Usually the sowing of the variety Ferimon is produced from mid April to mid June, this depends on the final product you want to get. If the seeds are germinated in April, at the end of June they can be in full bloom, but if they are germinated in June they do not flower until August.

The fact that it is grown in northern, central and southern Europe can give you an idea of the adaptability and resistance of this hemp strain. It is not necessary to prepare a substrate that is very rich in nutrients, but it is important that it is loose and fluffy.

What is produced by the Ferimon variety?

There are special plants for the production of seeds rich in essential fatty oils, the fact that they are monoecious causes many seeds to come out per 3x3ft (m2). They are also grown for processing their fibres, but to a lesser extent.
