How is feminized Mr Tropicanna Hide?

At first glance it stands out because of its striking colors, although not all phenotypes take on dark shades. It's a hybrid containing approximately 30% indica and 70% sativa, and this can be seen in both its appearance and effect.

Branches quite a lot, from below, with branches that are close to the main tip, so it has an ideal structure for indoor cultivation. Its development is quite fast both in growth and flowering.

What genetics does this plant contain?

Originally it is a cross between the Girl Scout Cookies F2 and the Tangie, where the breeder Harry Palms did a great job of selection to isolate some elite phenotypes that later crossed between them to get a stable offspring with the most important traits.

Mr Hide's feminized seeds are surely a self-pollination of the elite Tropicanna Cookies clone that arrived to the old continent some time ago, so they would be S1.

How is it grown indoors and outdoors?

ndoors it works perfectly with the SCROG method, thanks to its large number of long branches and fast growth in general. If you put 9 plants per 3x3ft (m2) you will not be asked for more than 3 weeks to fill the entire mesh. Once the photoperiod is changed to flowering it is interesting to do a low pruning for 2 reasons, firstly because it takes better advantage of the energy of the plant, but also because it has better ventilation, something essential to avoid the attack of fungi. All the branches that are under the net or mesh can be cut, because where the light does not reach, it will not be able to form quality flowers.

If you grow it outdoors or in a greenhouse it is very interesting to put some support to help the branches, this way it produces a little bit more and there is no risk to break them. You can use a large pot or plant directly in the soil, but in both cases it would be good to prepare a good amount of nutrient-rich substrate, at least 13.2 US gal (50 litres).

When is Mr Tropicanna Hide harvested?

Cultivated with artificial light needs about 9 or 10 weeks of flowering to be completely mature. In outdoor crops, you must cut in early or mid-October in the northern hemisphere and during the second or third week of April in the southern hemisphere.

How is the production of this Mr Hide Seeds' hybrid?

The production of buds is between 14.1 and 17.6 oz per 3x3ft (400-500 grams/m2) in indoor cultivation and about 21.2 oz (600 grams) in dried weed outdoors. The yield of resin and essential oils is impressive, a jewel for lovers of extractions, as they not only get a lot, but it is also of high quality.

What is the aroma and taste of Mr Tropicana Hide?

You cannot deny that it contains Tangie among its ancestors, because it emanates a sweet citrus fragrance from miles away. Its intense aroma can be a problem, so we recommend that you check the anti-odour systems before growing it.

The citrus part also stands out in its taste, although notes of cinnamon and the typical bouquet of biscuit dough are added, left by the varieties of the Cookies family.
