Piensa en verde offers you spare electrode Hanna PH Mod: HI 73127. Compatible with Hanna HI 98121, HI 98127, HI 98128, HI 98129 y HI 98130.
This electrode has a sensor based an electrochemical cell . This cell begins to suffer wear from the time of manufacture to the end of its life. The life of an electrode is limited, with the typical 1 year to 2 years. It is essential to careful management and good housekeeping for a good result in measurements. Never touch the electrode fingers, paper, or anything other than water.
Calibration:
To calibrate the instrument, Piensa en Verde recommended solutions as Buffer type. The first calibration standard should be to pH 7 or pH 6.864 (pH neutral), then the corresponding values acids or bases according to the operating range pattern. Between each calibration should always be rinsed with distilled water and then remove excess water by shaking the electrode.
Measurement:
Immerse the electrode tip at least 2.5 cm into the solution to be measured, wait a minute for the reading to stabilize and read. After each measurement the electrode should be rinsed.
Deep cleaning:
If the electrode requires a cleaner, either be measuring wastewater or with lots of color, use a cleaning solution based on hydrochloric acid 0.1% by immersing the electrode tip about 10 minutes.
