What's Covercrop like?
It is a substrate made up of 70% premium quality coconut fiber combined with 30% perlite, which are expanded clay balls that have the ability to retain moisture. It comes pre-fertilized with an NPK distribution of 12-14-18 to avoid possible deficiencies during the first stages of life of cannabis plants. This substrate can be used directly or combined with soil to gain aeration, but many people also use it as drainage, placing a layer of 2 or 3 cm at the bottom of the pot to improve the evacuation of excess water.
