Characteristics of Covercrop LightMix Substrate
Covercrop lightmix has a very interesting composition for growing cannabis, where trichoderma harzianum, mycorrhizae, fulvic acids and humus stand out, in addition to its nutritional base.
All these elements provide different functions to the plant, making its growth, flowering and production better. These components and proportions are as follows:
- Sphagnum peat by 75%
- Coconut fiber 10%
- Perlite 10%
- Worm humus 5%
In addition to this, microelements, root stimulant and moisturizer are added in very small proportions, together with the components named at the beginning. On the other hand, its physical characteristics are the following:
- NPK in a ratio of 14/12/18
- Fine grain for better application
- Only 5% organic matter
- pH between 5.5 and 6.5
- Relative humidity between 60%
How to use Covercrop LightMix substrate
This substrate will provide a medium with high drainage that will allow root growth. It is a substrate that is recommended for use in germination and cuttings, since mycorrhizae protect the roots of cannabis plants in a symbiotic relationship.
You can apply it indoors or outdoors without distinction or change, even use it for autoflowering cannabis strains.
