Ingredients for foie gras pâté

  • 2 pounds (900 grams) of foie gras lobe cut into small pieces
  • 1/2 cup of dehydrated garlic, natural or ground
  • 1/2 cup white leek stem
  • 1/4 cup onion
  • 8.45 US lq oz. (250 ml.) of white wine
  • 2 cups of heavy cream, optional spreadable cheese or other cream of your preference
  • 1 tablespoon of salt
  • 0.67 US lq oz. (20 ml.) of CBD cannabic oil
  • 3.4 US lq oz. (100 ml.) of water

 

To serve

  • Toasted bread.
  • Crackers
  • Various snacks

 

Preparation

  1. Your first step is to place the leek with the dehydrated garlic, the salt and the onion with 3.4 US lq oz. (100 ml.) of water in a pot and place it at medium heat for 20 minutes and be careful so that nothing sticks or burns in the pot.
  2. The second step is that at the end of 20 minutes you remove the ingredients from the fire and let them rest until they reach room temperature.
  3. Third, take everything boiled and proceed to place it in a food processor and add the wine, the heavy cream of your preference, the CBD oil and the lobe of foie gras previously cut into small pieces.
  4. Fourth, process all the ingredients until it acquires the consistency of a fully integrated and thick, but manageable cream and, in case the mixture has a lot of consistency, you can add more wine if you wish.
  5. Finally, you can serve it with the toast, the crackers or the snacks of your preference.
