While the plates are heating up, we can put the cannabis in a rosin filter and wrap it with special paper for rosin, making a kind of envelope with one side open. Once the set temperature is reached, the envelope is placed on top of the lower plate with the open side facing us, since the resin will come out on that side.

Now comes the interesting part, when we have the envelope with the filter and the cannabis on top of the lower plate, we begin to activate the lever of the hydraulic jack until the upper plate begins to press the cannabis, and we leave it like that for about 1 minute to heat before continuing to tighten. After that time we continue to operate the lever little by little until the maximum pressure, approximately for 3 minutes, but this can be relative and the ideal is to maintain the pressure until we see that resin stops coming out. When we see that no more rosin comes out, we can separate the plates and remove the envelope, remove the filter with the cannabis and the paper can be stored in the fridge or freezer for a few minutes so that it comes off more easily.
