CBD Mazar from Dutch Passion are the new feminized seeds that this Dutch bank has presented as the most medicinal version of its Mazar variety. The highlight of this variety is its ratio THC: CBD, since it does not usually exceed 0.5% THC but normally the cannabidiol content ranges between 10% and 13%. With this very special chemotype , the effect of CBD Mazar is totally therapeutic, with hardly any psychoactivity, and with the aroma and flavor typical of the best Afghan genetics.
The R&D team at Dutch Passion used a Charlotte's Angel clone to cross with their mythical Mazar to incorporate the genes that produce high amounts of CBD in the offspring. The result is a mainly indica plant, which still has many traits of the Mazar, but with a much more medicinal effect.
They are very homogeneous plants in general, with a quite compact and bushy structure, very resistant trunk and branches, minimum distance between nodes, wide leaves, and proportional growth. During flowering they can double in size or a little more, but it begins to produce buds quickly and massively, of extreme density and hardness, and with a spectacular resin layer.
Its cultivation does not pose any difficulty, so they are perfect seeds for those growers or consumers who are starting out in self-cultivation. Indoors, it is necessary to give at least 4 weeks of vegetative growth so that they end up with a good size, but this does not lengthen their cultivation because then it recovers the time in flowering. You can put 16 plants / m2 in 7-liter pots, without pruning the main tip, because it is about making a kind of Sea Of Green from seed. During flowering some of the larger leaves can be removed that can shade the lower buds, but without exceeding soft defoliation to try to gain production.
In outdoor cultivation, the seeds must be germinated in early spring if the intention is that the plants end up with the maximum size and yield. In this case, the ideal is to plant pots of more than 30 liters in so that they can develop a great root system, a key factor in indica varieties such as CBD Mazar. You can choose between letting the plants grow naturally, or do a apical pruning or FIM so that the bud production is distributed throughout the plant.
As I told you before, this genetics has a really fast flowering period, and in indoor cultivation they can be harvested after about 8 weeks of flowering. Grown outdoors or in outdoor greenhouses they are harvested at end September in the northern hemisphere, and at the end of March in the southern hemisphere.
Its yield can be considered medium-high, because in indoor cultivation it is normal to achieve a bud production of more than 14,10 oz per 3x3ft ( 400 grams / m2 ) , and each CBD Mazar grown outdoors can produce more than 18 oz/plant ( 500 grams ) of harvest .
The aroma and flavor of this marijuana is very much in line with the Mazar mother, with that deep earthy and Kush aroma of the Afghan varieties. In the flavor spicy nuances are discovered that are marked on the taste buds to round off a flavor highly appreciated by consumers, as it fills the mouth with each puff.
The THC level does not usually exceed 0.5%, so the psychoactive effects are practically nil or negligible. But the highlight of this strain is its concentrations of other cannabinoids such as CBD, which is between 10% and 13%, so it offers a relaxing, analgesic, and very pleasant effect, which can help to relieve a good number of ailments or diseases.
Mazar i shariff is an Afghan region well known for producing a type of hash that is highly appreciated all over the world, but now it will also be famous for having a variety of therapeutic marijuana excellent flavor, great resin production, and the most special effect in the Dutch Passion catalog.
