Afghan Skunk feminized seeds by Advanced Seeds give you a legendary indica-dominant hybrid that’s tough, tasty, and built to impress—delivering up to 500 g/m² of dense, resin-coated buds with minimal fuss.
Ever stared at your grow space wondering if you picked the right strain? You know the feeling—excited to start, but worried one wrong move could ruin months of work. Especially if you’re new, or just don’t have time for finicky plants that demand perfection.
What if your plant stretched too much? Or got hit by mold? Or barely produced anything after all that effort? That frustration is real. And it’s why so many growers walk away after one bad run.
But here’s the good news: Afghan Skunk doesn’t play those games. This is the strain that grows strong even when you’re still learning. With its rock-solid genetics—Afghan meets Skunk—it handles stress like a champ, resists mold better than most, and fills your space with thick, aromatic buds in just 8–9 weeks of flowering. No PhD in botany required.
Forget skimpy harvests. Afghan Skunk is a production powerhouse, especially indoors, where it consistently delivers 400–500 g/m² (14–17.6 oz/ft²). Outdoors, each plant can pump out 600–800 g (21–28 oz) under full sun. That’s serious yield for a plant that only reaches 0.70–1.00 m (2.3–3.3 ft) indoors and up to 3.0 m (9.8 ft) outside.
The nose hits hard—classic skunk, pungent and sharp, with earthy sweetness underneath. When cured, it develops fruity notes that linger on the palate. Terpenes like myrcene, limonene, and pinene create a complex profile that’s unmistakably Skunk, but with the smooth depth of Afghan. Just be ready: this one needs a carbon filter. It’s not discreet.
This is couch-lock territory—but the good kind. Afghan Skunk delivers a deep physical relaxation that melts stress away, paired with a gentle cerebral lift. It’s ideal for evening use, helping you unwind, quiet your mind, and ease into sleep. Not for productivity. Definitely for chilling.
One of its coolest tricks? When temperatures drop late in flowering, Afghan Skunk can develop stunning reddish and purple hues. But more than just looks, it’s genuinely cold-resistant—making it a smart pick for outdoor grows in continental or less predictable climates. Pair it with a solid substrate like Premium Coco Substrate Pre-Fertilized Plagron for strong root development.
Get Afghan Skunk growing strong with this expert-backed plan—simple, effective, and tuned to its resilient nature.
Photoperiod feminized indica hybrid from Advanced Seeds. Flowering in 8–9 weeks, easy to grow, ideal for indoor and outdoor setups in temperate to continental climates.
Germinate seeds in a moist, dark environment at 22–25 °C (71.6–77 °F).

Shape your plant early for maximum light exposure.
Switch to 12/12 light to trigger flowering—then let it rip.
Time it right for maximum potency and smooth smoke.
Absolutely. Its resistance to stress, pests, and mold makes it one of the most beginner-friendly feminized strains. Just keep humidity in check and avoid overfeeding.
Yes. Its bushy structure and lateral branching make Afghan Skunk perfect for SCROG. Train early in veg to create an even canopy and maximize yield under the screen.
Very strong. The skunky terpene profile becomes intense in mid-flowering. Use a carbon filter or activated charcoal scrubber to control odor, especially indoors.
Yes. Afghan Skunk handles cooler temperatures well and can develop purple hues in cold finishes. Just harvest before heavy rains to avoid mold.
I’ve grown Afghan Skunk three times now—once outdoors in Murcia, twice indoors under LEDs. The first time, I underestimated the stretch and didn’t train early enough, so the main cola hogged all the light. Lesson learned: top it at 4 nodes and start LST right after.
What blew me away was how forgiving it was. I missed a few waterings during vacation, and it barely blinked. The buds came in rock-hard, super resinous, with that classic skunk punch. I cured them for three weeks, and the flavor smoothed out beautifully—earthy, sweet, with a hint of citrus. If you want a strain that delivers big without demanding your full attention, this is it. I keep coming back to it, especially when I want something reliable for friends who just want to chill.

Hello, I would like to know if I can do a one bud with this seed, and I wanted to know if I can switch it to flowering directly once the seed comes out of the ground and use flowering fertilizer right away. Thank you.
Do you mean the SOG cultivation method? There are producers who germinate this variety and put it indoors in 2.2-liter pots with two weeks of growth and then move them to flowering, thus shortening the growth cycle so that all the plants have a single bud from the green sea (SOG). Best regards.
