Frisian Duck by Dutch Passion is a feminized cannabis strain engineered for ultimate discretion and resilience, featuring naturally camouflaged duck-foot leaves and delivering XXL yields of purple, spicy-pine-scented buds.
Ever worried your garden grow might attract unwanted attention? Traditional cannabis plants scream “look at me!” with their iconic leaf shape—making them risky in urban or shared spaces. You’ve probably skipped growing altogether or settled for tiny, low-yield setups just to stay under the radar.
That constant stress of being spotted, combined with unpredictable weather ruining your harvest, turns what should be a chill hobby into a nerve-wracking gamble. You lose not just plants, but time, money, and the joy of growing.
Frisian Duck solves this by blending in like a garden shrub—its leaves mimic mint or nettle until late bloom—so neighbors walk right past without a second glance. Bred from Frisian Dew and DucksFoot, it’s tough enough to thrive in cold, wet European summers while pumping out up to 500 g/m² of dense, purple flowers.
Unlike regular strains that demand secrecy and perfect conditions, Frisian Duck thrives in plain sight. Its mutated leaf structure provides natural camouflage, eliminating the need for hiding spots or constant vigilance. Even during flowering, its aroma stays subtle—more forest-fresh than skunky—so no telltale smells drift to curious noses.
Growers report monster yields even in subpar conditions: one Dutch rooftop grower harvested 240 g of dark purple buds after a rainy summer, while another in the Mediterranean saw plants survive 4 days without water at 30°C (86°F). This isn’t just a strain—it’s your ticket to stress-free, abundant harvests anywhere.
Frisian Duck is your go-to if discretion, resilience, or beginner-friendliness tops your priority list.
Start seeds in May (Northern Hemisphere) and transplant directly into garden soil or large containers—no fancy gear needed. For best results, use an airy mix like Light Mix BioBizz to boost root health. Water lightly until established, then let rainfall do the work; this strain laughs at drought and downpours alike.
Harvest in early October outdoors or after 7–9 weeks flowering indoors. No defoliation or topping required—just let it grow wild and watch it dominate your space with minimal effort.
Yes—its duck-foot leaves mimic common garden plants like mint or nettle until late flowering. Even experienced growers report neighbors never suspecting it’s cannabis.
Absolutely! It stays compact (under 1.10 m / 3.61 ft) and yields heavily under 12/12 lighting. Purple hues may be less vivid than outdoors, but flavor and potency remain top-notch.
Give it room! Outdoors, it can reach 3 m (9.84 ft) tall and wide. Plant directly in the ground for maximum root expansion and yields.
No—Frisian Duck thrives on basic organic feeds. For explosive flowering, try Bloombastic to boost resin and bud density.
I’ve grown dozens of outdoor strains, but Frisian Duck changed my game. Last summer, I planted three in my Barcelona terrace next to rosemary and lavender—my building manager walked past daily, never batting an eye. The leaves looked like ornamental shrubs until late September, when purple buds exploded. Even after a week of torrential rain, zero mold. Yield? Over 550 g (19.4 oz) per plant, dried. Before this, I used Royal Queen Seeds hybrids, but they always needed netting and staking. Frisian Duck? Zero support, zero stress. I’d recommend it to any urban grower who wants big harvests without the paranoia. Just don’t forget to flush with System Clean Aptus—it made my cure taste like fresh pine forest.

I would recommend, not the highest thc levels but still a good loud buzz. A good strain for the beginner or outdoor grower.
The seeds were sealed in a Dutch Passion box I was very happy they broke shell the first day in germination the plant looks nothing like what it really is I love it.

Frisian Duck is a great plant to grow, it is very easy to grow and looks just like the ducks foot up until it flowers. The smoke is very smooth not to heavy and has a little *** to it. not a very long lasting about 1-2 hrs but lets you do jobs that need to be done then sit back and relax.
