GG4 Sherbet FF by Fastbuds are Fast Flowering feminized seeds created from the fusion between 2 modern American varieties that stand out for their intense flavor, incredible amount of resin, and above all for their good potency. This seed bank from the USA has surprised us this new year with normal flowering genetics, since it became famous throughout the planet for its excellent autoflowering varieties.
Surely its name gives you some clues about its origin, it is an original cross between Gorilla Glue and Orange Sherbet Auto, and by combining a photodependent strain with an autoflowering one, the result is Fast Flowering seeds, that is, they depend on the amount of daylight hours to grow or flower, but its full bloom period is much faster than usual. According to Fastbuds, her genetics are around 70% sativa and 30% indica, and since both parents share Chem genes between their ancestors, the resulting polyhybrid is fairly homogeneous.
As with the rest of this brand's varieties, GG4 Sherbet FF seeds are super easy to grow, and anyone can get a great yield as long as a few factors are taken into account. In indoor cultivation it is advisable to give a generous vegetative growth time so that the plants give the best of themselves, because due to their genetics they begin to flower very quickly, so the stretching in pre-flowering is not as noticeable as in other strains. 4 or 5 weeks of vegetative phase can be ideal, and once the plants begin to flower it is interesting to perform a low pruning to eliminate those branches that do not receive much light. The natural structure of these plants facilitates a great light reflection throughout its structure, so other training pruning would not be necessary. You can put up to 16 plants/m2 in 7-litre pots, but another option would be to put 9 plants/m2 in 11-litre pots.
Outdoors, the best season for its cultivation is from late spring to late summer, since it is about taking advantage of the greater incidence of light from the sun, and when there are more daylight hours, it is in these months. Outdoors the plants can grow much larger than indoors, up to 2 meters even, but for that it is important that they have at least 20 liters of substrate for each specimen. Outdoors you can choose between pruning the main tip to encourage the growth of secondary branches, or letting the plants develop naturally, both ways perform very well.
The term "Fast Flowering" refers to its rapid flowering, and it is that as a general rule, the GG4 Sherbet FF do not usually need more than 7 weeks of flowering. Outdoors, the harvest arrives at the end of summer, regardless of when the seeds germinate, and the hemisphere where they are planted, and the only thing that changes is the size of the plants, since if the seeds are germinated at the beginning of summer they will practically end at the same time, but the GG4 Sherbet FF won't have as much time to reach a large size.
A normal production of buds in indoor cultivation can range between 450 and 600 grams/m2, depending on the light power, the feeding of the plants, and above all the skill or experience as a grower of the gardener in question. In outdoor cultivation, each plant can yield from 70 to 180 grams, in this case it depends on the amount of substrate they have, the amount of light they receive, and obviously the grower's hand also counts. We must also highlight the large amount of resin produced by these plants, although seeing their ancestors this should not surprise anyone.
The aroma is quite powerful from the beginning of the flowering phase, a sweet, earthy mixture and a musky touch that gives it character. The flavor shows great complexity due to the large number of nuances that compose it, from a unique fruity sweet, notes of toasted hazelnuts, spicy spices and an earthy undertone very typical of its genetics.
In the effect, the indica part of the variety stands out, despite starting with a certain euphoria, an uplifting feeling of good vibes, peace of mind, body relaxation and elevated mood quickly invades you. If consumed a lot or in a quiet environment, in many cases it facilitates sleep, and as a side effect it should be noted that it greatly stimulates the appetite and makes the eyes very red.
