The ECOSE® natural binder used avoids the use of chemical products from stone wool, including acetylide and formaldehyde. One of the ways to increase the performance of the substrate, implemented in its preparation, is the incorporation of biological microorganisms.
These microorganisms perfect and improve the bacteriological life in the roots, which favors their development. The Mapito substrate (80L) has a presentation in scales that give you the possibility to move your plants as you need.
Recommendations for use
The bags of this innovative substrate have been designed so that you can use them directly on your plants. It only remains for you to add water and the nutrients that you think are convenient. Preferably, use those that are for hydroponic crops.
The substrate does not need to be pressed very hard, because as you get wet, due to watering, it will compact a lot. On the other hand, if you press it too much, when it gets wet it will be dense, drowning the roots of the plants.
After filling your pots with the Mapito substrate (80L) it will be time to activate your irrigation system. At this point you should observe how much the substrate is lowered and compacted; If it does not go down, it is an indicator that you are ready to grow your plants.
On the other hand, if the mapito goes down, simply fill in a little more until the pot is full and proceed to planting.
