Tangieland is the newest addition to DNA genetics in its great collaboration with Crockett Family Farms. This is a cannabis plant that stands out mainly for its taste and effect, but it does not lag behind in production, mostly resin, so it will delight both growers and extractors.

What is the genetics of this plant?
It is a combination between Tangie, an elite clone that comes from the mythical California Orange, and Candyland, which is a crossing of Grandaddy Purple and Platinum Girl Scout Cookies. The result is a perfect mix of both genetics and the traits inherited from both the mother and the father can be appreciated.
What is Tangieland like in general?
Apparently it is more similar to Candyland, with stretched bearing, much branching, and extra hard buds, not very bulky, but frosted by the impressive layer of resin that bathes them. The level of terpenes is of another dimension, just begin to show the first flowers and begins to emanate its fruity aroma, which is accentuated with the formation of buds and maturation.
How to grow Tangieland indoors and outdoors?
To get the most out of this variety you need to have a minimum of growing experience, not that it is complicated, but to squeeze the yield you need to understand the nutrition of this type of sativa loaded polyhybrid.
Due to its elongated structure, we think that is more convenient to place a mesh to limit the height and apply SCROG technique. The ideal is to put 4 or 5 plants per 3x3ft (m2), in 4 or 5.3 US gal (15-20 litre) pots and start pruning from the fourth knot onwards. Once the surface of the net or mesh is covered, change the photoperiod to flowering and do a low pruning, everything that is below the height of the net can be pruned, as the light will not reach there well.
In outdoor cultivation it becomes very large even if you do not germinate the seeds soon, keep this in mind if you want them to be a discreet size. The buds are not as bulky as those of a Skunk as we said before, but they are tremendously heavy, so it is necessary to use tutors or supports for the branches in flowering.
With these plants so tasty always we recommend its nutrition with organic fertilizers, both in indoor and outdoor cultivation or greenhouse, is the best way to enjoy its great organoleptic quality.
When do I harvest this hybrid?
Indoors you can cut from the ninth week of flowering, but some phenotypes are extended to 10 or even 11 weeks. This is another reason why we recommend some growing experience, not because a novice can't get a great yield or quality, but maybe with other varieties it will be easier.
Cultivated in mid to late October sun in the Northern Hemisphere, during this final phase of cultivation it can show very striking hues due to cool night temperatures, this is part of the Candyland heritage. In the southern hemisphere it is harvested in mid or late April.
How is Tangieland's production?
Can be considered high in all respects, as in indoor cultivation it can produce more than 17.6 oz per 3x3ft (500 grams/m2) if it has no limiting factors. Outdoors each Tangieland can give you more than 35.3 oz (1000 grams) of dry weed, but you have to plant in mother earth in a place with many hours of direct sun.
The final resin production is exaggerated, look at the photos if you don't believe me, the return that can be achieved in extractions and cannabic concentrates can be one of the highest in the international panorama.
What is the aroma and taste of this plant?
Although clearly predominates Tangie in this sense, it must be said that the ancestor GDP is noted in the crossing. The final product is like putting a grape seed in a tangerine and eating it all at once. Sweet citrus with a berries aftertaste, complex but very intense, you won't find anyone who tells you they don't like it.
Does it have a sativa or indica effect?
Actually it feels more like an indica one, although it starts with a great general high that seems to readjust all your chakras, you quickly begin to notice some body heaviness, which can be ideal for people who need to relax muscles, or just for those nights you want to stay stuck to the couch.
THC level is above 20%, and can be as high as 26%, so you can get an idea of the high it tends to produce, which is not suitable for people who are not used to powerful cannabis.
