Seriotica are feminized marijuana seeds from the Serious Seeds bank, which in this case surprises us with a cross between 2 modern American strains to result in a new variety that we think can give a lot to talk about, and if you don't believe me, continue reading...
Simon and the rest of the breeders at Serious Seeds chose the prestigious Girl Scout Cookies as a gene donor to cross with their Serious Mimosa, and this original combination has resulted in a new mainly indica polyhybrid that has impressive hybrid vigour.
Its structure is rather low but very robust, with branches so strong that they do not need support to be able to support the great weight of the flowering buds. The leaves have medium-sized and very serrated leaflets, which are later covered with very sticky resin. The buds are round in shape and as tight as a golf ball, with a very interesting ratio between leaves and calyxes that gives them a very striking appearance and facilitates manicure work. As a general rule, the flowers and leaves end up acquiring purple, pink or a very particular crimson shade.
They are very easy seeds to grow, and thanks to their rapid flowering many problems can be avoided. In indoor cultivation you can get an excellent harvest putting 12 plants/m2 in 11 liter pots, but it is important to give a vegetative growth time of at least 3 or 4 weeks to give the Seriotica time to develop a great structure. It is not necessary to do pruning or other techniques to improve performance, if you let them grow naturally they can perfectly occupy the entire grow room.
Outdoors it is best to germinate the seeds early, in early to mid-spring at the latest so that they get the most plant mass before they start to flower. If you have the possibility of making a Super Soil-type substrate mixture, don't think about it, it is the best way to get a final product with a lot of flavor without applying a lot of liquid fertilizers.
Surely we are looking at one of the fastest varieties of the Wild West, because right now I can't remember any photoperiod seed that can be harvested with just 37 days of flowering, a record. From Serious Seeds they recommend this flowering time for consumers who prefer a sativa effect, but those who prefer it more relaxing can leave them until approximately 58 days of flowering. In outdoor cultivation, it is cut from mid-September in the northern hemisphere, and from mid-March in the southern hemisphere.
The production of buds is estimated between 350 and 600 grams/m2 in indoor cultivation, and between 400 and 750 grams per plant in outdoor crops. The production of trichomes is extremely high, so much so that you will see trichomes even on the petioles of the leaves and branches.
The aroma is reminiscent of orange pastries or cookies, a sweet mixture with soft nuances similar to cinnamon and vanilla. In the mouth, the taste is similar, very sweet, with citrus notes and a gaseous touch that is not perceived in the aroma.
The effect depends on the maturation of the buds as we have seen before, since it can vary quite a lot from the most relaxing to the most stimulating side. Although it is mostly indica, it is not a leverage or knockout effect, but it is very noticeable on a physical level, with great relaxation combined with a lot of brain activity. The THC concentration ranges between 25% and 28%, so if you don't have much tolerance for this cannabinoid, I advise you to consume it in moderation.
Isn't it true that you were not exaggerating when you said that these seeds will give a lot to talk about? That's how it is, it's not easy to find a variety with flowering so fast that can produce so many cannabinoids, and on top of that with a flavor that is out of the ordinary.
