Different effects THC has on your body

Welcome dear reader to the blog of your trusted Grow Shop! This week I’m going to deal with one of the most frequently asked questions among smokers: How does THC affect us? I’ll try to shed some light on this question, analysing the different effects THC has on your body, how long it takes to be eliminated, and the different tests you can be subjected to in order to be detected, and of course some trick so that the tests are negative. Keep reading and discover it!!.?

⛳ How does THC affect us?

To begin with, I am going to remember what THC or tetrahydrocannabinol is, one of the main cannabinoids found naturally in the cannabis plant, and which is responsible for the psychotropic effects it produces when smoked or ingested, as well as for the change in behaviour in the smoker in question, who becomes in a state of euphoria and joy, as it encourages the release of dopamine in the brain, responsible for these emotions. It also affects senses such as touch, smell and hearing.

When it is smoked its effects are practically immediate, as it passes from the lungs quickly to the bloodstream and from there directly to the brain. This is the substance by which marijuana is considered illegal in most countries, which have established maximum values of THC for marijuana to be considered legal, in the case of the European Union, has been estimated at 0,2%.

✨ How long does THC last in the body?

This data is very volatile, since each metabolism eliminates the substance in a different speed, but more or less after several studies have been established some average scales, in which of course, influences the frequency of smoking, and is that a habitual smoker will eliminate the substance will have more difficulty that a consumer who has just started or that does it in a much more eventual way, since if you consume habitually you do not stop introducing THC to the organism.

In less habitual smokers, the substance can disappear in about 2-3 days, while a habitual smoker can even take 10 days or those who smoke daily can take 6 weeks from the last intake. This is pure speculation and figures are totally variable, since each body is a world so take them as a mere piece of information, if you smell a possible test it is best to stop smoking 2-3 weeks before and cure in health.

? How is a THC analysis done?

There are different tests to demonstrate that you have consumed marijuana, and to be able to demonstrate that level of THC you have in blood, but what you do not know, is that they do not measure the level of normal THC but the level of THC-COOH, a metabolite that secretes the liver to your blood when it decomposes the THC and that takes a lot longer in disappearing of your body.

There are 4 types of tests that dictate the level of THC-COOH:

– Saliva Test

It is the most common for its speed and low cost, is the one made by all traffic agents at roadblocks, and has the cut in 50mg/ml, so you see carefully and take appropriate measures, as there are currently certain products that can help you to pass this type of tests such as Kleaner an oral cleanser that prevents you from testing positive in drug tests with the Saliva test, just rinsing for 1 min and that will be effective for 1 hour.

– Urine test

The most used by some companies to find out if their employees have consumed cannabis, as it detects the presence of THC in much longer times than the saliva test. If you want to avoid it, you can always use the Euro Blend Magnum, an effective THC masker until you urinate 3 times after taking it.

– Blood test

This type of test is practically infallible, as it is performed by the authorities after having an accident, so you can’t escape from this, as it precisely reflects the ng/ml you have in blood.

– Hair test

The most effective without a doubt after the blood test, and whose only way out is to shave your hair Koyak style. With this analysis they can tell you up to the exact day in which you have ingested it, and consists of analyzing in laboratory a sample of hair of about 100 hairs, and submerge them in a liquid and analyze it to determine the presence of THC-COOH, but the drawback is the great cost involved, close to 90 euros per test, bearing in mind that the cost of saliva has a cost of 2 euros and urine about 10 … You’ll get rid of that! Because it is usually used in elite sportsmen, high executive positions, etc…

? How long does THC last in the blood?

The duration of THC in blood varies depending on the frequency of smoking, as it will not be the same in non-regular smokers or smokers who smoke daily. In the case of non-regular smokers, the duration of THC in blood will be 4 to 5 days, while in the case of regular smokers it will remain 15 days, and may even reach 30.

The duration of THC in the blood varies with the frequency of use.

✅ How long does it last in the urine?

In the case of the urine test, it is where the frequency in which you smoke most influences, since it will determine the duration of THC in your urine:

  • – In the case of less common smokers, it will last between 5-7 days.
  • – In so-called weekend smokers, the duration is up to 15 days.
  • – In regular smokers, positives can occur as early as 70 days after smoking.

In the urine test, it is the frequency with which you smoke that has the most influence.

? How long does it last on saliva?

The duration of THC in saliva is relatively short compared to other tests, but its main disadvantage is that it is positive from the first moment, up to 24 hours after smoking in regular users and 12 hours in non-regular users.

? How can we eliminate it quickly?

To quickly eliminate THC levels from your body, I’m going to give you a series of tips that I guarantee I’ve tried for myself, and I’ve managed to “save the skin” on more than one occasion:

  • First of all, if you have a urine test, for example, the best thing to do is drink a lot of water, to help eliminate the metabolites, in fact, dehydration is one of the factors that encourage positive even days after smoking, so hydrate yourself a lot and drink a lot of water and you can avoid problems.
  • It’s also highly recommended to eat a healthy, low-fat diet, as THC is stored in body fat, so as well as getting in shape and saying goodbye to that puppy belly, you’ll help reduce your body’s THC levels much faster.
  • Also do a lot of cardiovascular exercise, burn fat and therefore reduce THC levels, but not everything is going to be quiet suffer, also a good spa session, sauna and Turkish bath, will help you eliminate THC from your body through sweating and burning fat

? What are the side effects of THC?

THC has historically been responsible for the stigmatization of the cannabis plant, as it is responsible for certain side effects such as tachycardias, disorientation, lack of physical coordination, depressive states, drowsiness, and even some studies have determined that continued use of THC can lead to panic attacks and anxiety, especially in people who before smoking cannabis would have already suffered some form of paranoia

This is like everything in life, cannabis is a plant that nature has arranged so that we can enjoy it, to do it with responsibility is our thing. Stigmatize something because it has side effects is hypocritical, because it has been shown that other legal drugs such as alcohol or tobacco, cause chronic diseases and thousands of deaths in our country for decades, so if consumed responsibly cannabis is a natural element with many beneficial properties that you can enjoy.

But, more specifically, what does THC do in the brain?

It has also been shown that the continued use of THC through the use of cannabis, affects the brain, deteriorating short-term memory, although more recent studies dictate that it can also affect long-term memory.

THC causes alterations in the structure and functions of the brain, especially in the case of adolescents, whose brain is still in the developmental phase. It also alters sensory perception, attention and motor skills.
