Description

In PEV Grow we like new varieties that are coming to market, so today we bring you along with Sensi Seeds the sensation of the moment, the Buttercream Gelato, a worthy heir to the Hindu Kush genetics.

What is your genetics?

This phenomenal hybrid is the result of the popular Hindu Kush, the legendary sativa Durban and the star Gelato.

Buttercream Gelato inherits incredible qualities from its parents, the great height comes from its genes of the Durban sativa, the great high effect is achieved by the Gelato, while its large production is due to the Hindu Kush.

What is it like in general?

Much of its family tree is shared with the Girl Scout Cookies, so we can expect a plant with resinous buds, while its structure is a central branch with secondary branches that will provide us with an abundant production.

The strain lends itself to various cultivation techniques such as the SCROG and the apical pruning, these will fully exploit the production capacities of our plant.

What are their smells and tastes?

In this section you can expect great results, because we are sure that you will love its smells and tastes.

In the smells we will find citrus terpenes with sandalwood, mint, vanilla and an incredible hash background.

As for the flavors we can find wood and hashish tastes, accompanied by a strong creamy and fruity flavor ideal for the most demanding palates.

What are its effects?

Although it is an indica-dominant hybrid, it has diverse and very strong effects.

At the beginning we will find a strong mental rise with a lot of euphoria and creativity that will make us talk a lot, being this effect the ideal to socialize or spend an afternoon with friends.

On the more Indica side, its body effect is present with a deep relaxation that will leave us the perfect state to do the activities without the psychoactive effects interfere, since this effect gradually counteracts the brain effects.

Is it good for therapeutic uses?

Its composition of 60% indica and 40% sativa make it an effective mixture for therapeutic use.

Its powerful relaxing effect on the body is ideal for treating tired bodies or pain that affects us in our daily lives.

The euphoric effects promote socialization and help punctually with anxiety and depression problems.

How is it grown?

It is a variety that responds cheerfully to the outdoor cultivation with warm climates and long summers. Although it also behaves very well indoors.

In outdoor crops you can have them in pots of up to 13.2 US gal (50 litres) because of their size, although as you make the transplants you can see which would be their best option. Do not forget the quality of the substrate, because it is important a soft soil for root growth so you can use a substrate rich in worm humus.

Indoors the ideal would be to have it in 5 pots of 5.3 US gal (20 liters) because also under lamps it grows considerably, so the use of techniques as the SCROG to regulate its height is recommended, you can also do apical pruning, ideal to make its growth more horizontal.

Its flowering period can be extended to 75 days but that should not stop you from growing it, because its profitable harvest will make you love it a lot, while watching the growth of its buds that will be filled with resin and lovers of the extractions will appreciate this inflated production of trichome crystals.
