What is the genetics that hide these seeds?
This is a cross between Banana Kush and Wedding Cheesecake, a masterful combination of 2 varieties very tasty, powerful and resinous. The resulting genotype is mostly indica, more or less 65%, compared to the 35% sativa it contains. The offspring is not totally uniform, it has some variation as is the case with most genetics today.
How is Banana Kush Cake in general features?
Its morphology is indica, contained size, with fairly short distance between nodes, although much branching, with proportional growth and appearance of a small Christmas tree. If you let it grow naturally ends up with a pyramidal shape, with a large central bud that concentrates a good part of the total production of the plant.
How are these seeds grown indoors and outdoors?
Its structure takes better advantage of the light of indoor growing if you make a Sea Of Green, or directly leave them as is, but making pruning low, as the ideal is to put 16 plants/m2 in pots of 7 liters. You can give 3 or 4 weeks of vegetative growth, they will end up very close together, so it is enough that they develop good central tips and 4 or 6 satellite branches. Remember to rearrange the plants as they flower, placing the smaller ones in the centre and the taller ones around the perimeter of the crop.
However, if you grow it outdoors is more interesting that prune the main tip, especially if you live in an area with a humid climate, as it is better to distribute the formation of buds by the more branches the better. Use large pots, or if you have the opportunity to plant directly in the ground, the better. Tutors will do very well, although the Banana Kush Cake enjoys very strong stems never hurts a little help.
When is Banana Kush Cake harvested?
The flowering period is very short on the faster phenotypes, which need just 7 weeks at 12/12 to be ready to cut. Other individuals may need 8 or even 9 weeks to mature properly in indoor growing.
Outdoor, or greenhouse grown are usually ready during the first half of October in the northern hemisphere. Outdoor growers in the southern hemisphere growing these seeds will have to wait until early April for harvest.
How much do these feminized seeds produce?
The buds of Banana Kush Cake are cone-shaped, fat and very heavy, and although the plants themselves don't look very big, indoor yields can be as high as 500 grams/m2 in many cases.
In outdoor cultivation depends on many factors, such as the number of hours of direct sunlight you have during cultivation, the amount of substrate available, the skill of the grower, pests, diseases, etc.. In normal conditions with each plant you can get of 600 to 700 grams easily .
How is the aroma and taste of Banana Kush Cake?
The aroma is not as intense as that of other varieties, is one of those that until you do not rub a bud just smell, but when it gives off its aroma is very marked, fruity, sweet, of those who want to try ipso facto. The flavor lives up to its name, with clear reminiscences to banana, on a sweet background reminiscent of the Skunk family, a delight that you do not expect, you'll love.
What kind of effect can we expect?
It leans much more towards the type of effect of the indicas, with mental stimulation and no desire to sleep, but with the body super relaxed. The potency is very high and long lasting, something to keep in mind if you are not used to this type of hybrid.
