How is the Blueberry variety?
This is one of the best cannabis hybrids in history, with qualities that make it unique in many ways. It grows as an indica, forming a solid structure, with strong stems, short distance between knots, and large leaves and medium leaflets. At first the leaves are quite wide, but as it is growing it creates narrower and narrower ones, as happens with other hybrids.
Most specimens acquire spectacular colors during flowering, especially when the temperature difference between the day and night cycle is high, 10 degrees or more. If you haven't cultivated it yet, you're running out of time, because it's a real gift for the eyes.
What genetics do Blueberry seeds have?
The original genetics is an excellent work of the great breeder DJ. Short, for its execution first created a F1 hybrid of 2 sativas, Chocolate Thai strain and Highland Oaxaca Gold, which he called Purple Thai. This strain is the one that painted with purple, blue, red shades, etc. to all the Blue family, and many other crosses that arrived later.
DJ Short crossed Purple Thai with a Thai Landrace known as Highland Thai, which had an intense fruity flavour and a remarkable high, so he renamed it Juicy Fruit. This hybrid was later crossed with a pure Afghani variety to shorten flowering time and adapt to indoor growing.
Blueberry seeds, along with other varieties, were brought to Europe by DJ. Short when he moved to be able to work quietly with cannabis. First he was in Holland, where he worked in two well-known seed banks, Sagarmatha and Dutch Passion. After a few years, when the laws became stricter in that country too, he moved to Switzerland to work with his friend Steve Breeder in Spice Of Life.
How is PEV Seeds Blueberry grown indoors?
Due to its morphology, it is better suited to apply the optimization method known as SOG, as it tends to form a large central bud. We can put about 16 plants per square meter in 7 litre pots, in this case we will give a growth time of about 3 weeks, as the Blueberry barely doubles its growth during flowering.
Blueberry from PEV Seeds does not need high amounts of fertilizer to yield well, in the middle of flowering we will reach a maximum of 1.6 E.C. It is grateful for organic nutrients, and like all varieties of fruity flavor, if you feed them with organic will reward you with extra terpenes and flavonoids that will greatly improve the flavor.
Tips for growing Blueberry outdoors
If you want to plant Blueberry outdoors and you want it to grow very big try to germinate in early spring, this plant needs enough time to develop well. In indoor cultivation is better not to prune, but outdoors you can choose what you like. Outdoor growers living in the northern hemisphere can harvest Blueberry in mid-October. If you live in the southern hemisphere the harvest begins in mid-April.

The Blueberry, once created by Dj Short, is only available on the european Market by dutch-Passion. The perfect Strain for selecting a good Male in the regular Version. 80% indica and 20% sativa influences, from Oaxacaan and Highland Thai. Very nice Strain with a unique Terpen Profile. A must have.
