Table of Contents
What genetics does BT7 variety contain?
On the one hand you have Banana Tangie#7, an elite clone of a very tasty plant and on the other hand OG #18, one of the most used strains by DNA Genetics to create new varieties, which perfectly expresses the Kush traits.
It can be said that it is a mainly indica hybrid, which usually does not give problems during cultivation, so it is recommended for all types of growers. Vigorous growth, fast flowering and good resistance to stress and disease.
How to grow DNA Genetics' BT7?
In indoor cultivation you can put 16 plants per 3x3ft (m2) in 1.8 US gal (7 liter) pots and give it about 20 days of vegetative growth. If you do this it is not necessary to prune to fill all the growing space during flowering in the minimum time possible.
Outdoors you can do several things, or let it grow normally if you don't have problems because of the size, or prune the main tip and benefit the lateral growth. In this case use a good sized pot, 13.2 US gal (50 liters) or more, or transplant it into mother soil, but try not to miss space for the roots so that it will grow well.
One thing that I will emphasize is its feeding, try to do it with organic fertilizers, although it can reduce a little its yield, it would be a pity not to be able to enjoy its spectacular flavor because of a little more production.
When is BT7 Feminized harvested?
It is quite fast, both to grow and to start blooming and maturing. In crops with artificial lights it does not need more than 55-60 days of flowering to be ready for cutting.
Grown outdoors, it is harvested at the beginning of October in the northern hemisphere, and in the case of planting it in the southern hemisphere you will have to wait until the beginning of April.
How much does this plant produce?
According to the seed bank it can produce from 15.8 to 17.6 oz per 3x3ft (450-500 grams per m2) in indoor crops. Outdoors or in greenhouses each plant can give 28.2 oz (800 grams) or more. The resin yield is exuberant, somewhat out of the ordinary, as is its essential oil content.
What does BT7 taste and smell like?
In this sense clearly prevails the mother Banana Tangie, a fruit salad with millions of nuances. Soft but very consistent smoke, loaded with terpenes that explode in your mouth, and last quite a while after you exhale.
What kind of effect does this variety have?
Clearly it is an indica one, with the right psychoactivity to not let you down, but at a body level it is anesthetic, so it is recommended for users of medical cannabis who want to calm nerves or pain, as well as for recreational users who want to disconnect at night without falling asleep.
