What is Strawberry Fields like?

Its morphology is of hybrid, with rather columnar structure, not very developed branching, wide leaves and stems of an average thickness. Its buds are not very bulky but have a good density and, of course, bathed in bright white resin that gives it a frosty look.

What is the genetics of Strawberry Fields by DNA?

First of all, it has nothing to do with another classic variety called the same and that is part of the Strawberry Cough. It is a cross between the Strawberry Banana Private Reserve and the Tangie, one of the elite clones most used by DNA to create new varieties. Remember that the Strawberry Banana contains Bubble Gum in its genetics, in this case a very special phenotype that Simon from Serious Seeds preserves and stands out for its intense strawberry aroma.

How is this feminized variety cultivated?

The fastest way to fill the indoor growing space is to put 16 plants/3x3ft (m2) into 1.8 US gal (7 litre) pots. Try to make a Sea Of Green from seed, without pruning during growth, so that only main tips remain in bloom. When changing the photoperiod it would be good to do Lollipop or low pruning, keep in mind that where the light does not reach well it will not be able to produce well, so it is worth cutting it and benefit the illuminated areas, that will take better advantage of the energy.

Outdoors it is different, in this case we think it is better to distribute the production of flowers throughout the plant. This is because outdoors they are exposed to rain or dew at night, which can kill off the fatter buds due to fungus. If you don't want to prune you can bend the main tip to benefit the growth of the secondary branches.

One thing I will recommend is that you feed your Strawberry Fields with organic fertilizers. It's not worth sacrificing its tremendous flavor to try to gain a few grams of crop if it's of poorer quality.

When is Strawberry Fields harvested indoors and outdoors?

In indoor cultivation you will have to wait 8 or 9 weeks of flowering to be able to cut your fully ripe strawberries, after the respective growing time of course. Grown outdoors or in greenhouses is cut in early October in the northern hemisphere. Outdoors in the southern hemisphere the harvest comes in early April.

How much does this plant produce overall?

It does not produce badly, even when fed with natural fertilizers, that's why I was telling you that it's not worth trying to squeeze its performance, as it can perfectly reach 17.6 oz per 3x3ft (500 grams/m2) in indoor without many problems.

Outdoors each plant can produce more than 21.2 oz (600 grams) if grown without limiting factors. To get the best results you need a good amount of substrate and enough hours of direct sun every day.

The production of essential oils is well above the market average, mainly terpenes and flavonoids, but also resin and cannabinoids.

What is the aroma and taste of Strawberry Fields?

The name fits it perfectly, because the aroma will transport you directly to a strawberry field when it's about to be harvested. It is a very marked aroma inherited from its ancestor Bubble Gum.

In its taste the same fruity background is mixed with hints of ripe banana and citrus touches, a gourmet product that will become one of the popular flavors during the next years without any doubt.

What kind of effect can we expect?

Don't be fooled by its intoxicating aroma, it may seem like a harmless treat, but this variety is not for inexperienced users. Its THC percentage is well over 20%, which together with its large amount of terpenes causes an effect that will satisfy even the most experienced smokers.

The high is instantaneous, with a lot of mental stimulation and at the beginning physical too, euphoria and well-being. If you're in an active situation the high won't leave you hanging, it doesn't have a very relaxing high, so it can be ideal for partying or socializing with friends.
